Since No One Else Was Doing It…

According to Business Weekly, somewhere in the neighborhood of 40,000 new blogs start up every day. That translates into one new blog every 2.1 seconds.

So a little multiple choice – why start this blog?

a. I was feeling really left out
b. It was between this and doing yard work
c. Sitting on the couch watching Oprah was totally out of the question
d. There’s a pretty cool story to share

I love the opportunities that today’s technology gives us to spread information to a mass audience – almost instantaneously. Within seconds we can broadcast a message, product, service, job opening, news event, item for sale, picture, video, blooper…almost anything. It’s a powerful tool. One we wouldn’t want to waste.
We have an amazing story – one that needs to be broadcasted!

We have THE story people are looking for. A story of hope and joy and purpose and life and transformation that is rivaled by no other story out there. It’s my story. It’s your story. And it’s the story that’s driving GCC to launch a new church site in Elkhart. People need to know that they matter to God, and that real life can be experienced in knowing Him.

It’s a cool story. So I figured we should blog about it.
