Westport Church

A Story of Faith, Sacrifice and Impact.

In 2005, a few families gathered together in a small home to dream about starting a new church in the western suburbs of Portland.  We dreamed of a church that would be values-based and Jesus-centered, influencing greater Portland for Christ in a significant way.  By 2006, the group had grown to several dozen adults who were passionately committed to launching Westport Church.

Westport Church launched the following Easter Sunday (2006) at Century High School in Hillsboro.  In just a few years of existence, Westport has developed a reputation for creativity, generosity, life transformation and service as we live out our vision for helping people in the western region of Portland see the beauty of Jesus, his words and his church, so that they can experience forgiveness, restoration, and joy.

Today Westport meets in the Amberglen Business Park near Streets of Tanasbourne in Hillsboro.  God has given us a high traffic, highly visible location that positions our church for even greater impact and transformation in the journey ahead.
